Truman has a nationwide reputation for providing a quality education at a modest price. While many highly rated institutions have tuition and room and board costs of $35,000 or more, you can attend Truman for approximately $13,500 in-state, about 1/3 of the cost. Few universities can offer a competitive, high-quality education for such a reasonable cost. More than 1,200 Truman freshmen received merit scholarships last year. In addition, Truman participates in all major financial aid programs.
