What attracted you to Truman?
Truman has a good academic reputation,
and my mom, aunts, and grandma went to Truman so I had grown up hearing about it.

What do you like best about Truman?
That I can walk around campus and know most of the people I see. It’s a really friendly atmosphere.

What do you like most about your classes? They challenge me to think, not just memorize the material.

What do you feel is unique about Truman? The teachers know their students and care about them. You don’t get those kind of relationships at big colleges.

How would you describe life at Truman to a friend?
There is a perfect balance of intellectual and social life. Truman students study hard, but enjoy life in college. Education is important in college, but so is making friends and experiencing life.

Have you studied abroad?
I studied abroad in Florence, Italy for a month during the summer.

What do you do for fun in Kirksville?
I like to go to Thousand Hills State Park with my friends or just hang out on campus. I also like to go to SAB events like concerts, comedians, and movies. I attend a lot of events through my sorority.
