Transfer Students: Apply for Admission
TRUMAN WELCOMES applications from students who have earned previous college credit from other accredited institutions. You can apply for admission to Truman as early as one year in advance of the semester you wish to attend. Truman has a rolling admission policy for transfer students, meaning applications are accepted until the beginning of each term. However, it is recommended that transfer students apply a minimum of 60 days prior to the start of the semester to ensure adequate time for the admission and registration processes.
The application for admission also serves as the scholarship application; therefore, students wishing to be considered for competitive scholarships must apply for admission and be accepted by
March 15 for fall enrollment and by November 1 for spring enrollment.
TO APPLY, transfer students must submit:
*Required of transfer applicants with fewer than 24 hours of transferable college credit (completed after high school) at the time of application.
Visit our Apply to Truman webpage for more information on submitting an application.
ADMISSION TO TRUMAN IS COMPETITIVE. Students must demonstrate a preparedness for study at Truman based on cumulative academic record, including grade point average in transferable college credit and strength of college curricula.
