ENROLLMENT - Truman has designed the enrollment process for you to be
as flexible and hassle-free as possible. Transfer students who have been
accepted for admission will automatically receive registration
information. The registration packet will include a copy of the most recent transfer
credit evaluation report, which reflect any transferable previous
college credit, instructions on how to create your TruView account, and
recommendations from an academic advisor to guide your enrollment.
ORIENTATION - Our transfer orientation program is designed to meet the
unique needs of transfer students. Information sessions and workshops
address a wide range of issues and provide information that is specific
to life at Truman. Typically, the Fall Semester program begins the
Sunday before classes start, and the Spring Semester program begins the
day prior to the first day of classes. Orientation is strongly
recommended as it provides an excellent opportunity for transfer
students to meet each other and share experiences while becoming
comfortable with their new surroundings.
RESIDENCE LIFE - Truman offers an on-campus living program which
includes seven residence halls and three apartment complexes. These
facilities house approximately one-half the student body. A limited
number of spaces are available for transfer students. To secure a space,
it is important to send your housing contract and $150 fee promptly.
Your housing contract will be sent to you with your acceptance packet.
