CLEP, AP and Dual Enrollment

Truman offers an opportunity to test out of selected liberal arts courses through the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) and the Advanced Placement Program (AP). Any student receiving an AP examination score of 3 or above will be granted the number of hours of Truman credit equivalent to the amount of Truman coursework covered by that AP exam. Truman accepts credit from other colleges for courses completed in high school if the courses are comparable to ones offered at Truman. Each course is evaluated individually when Truman receives an official transcript from the college or university granting credit.
